"You're only given one spark of Madness, you mustn't lose it."
-Robin Williams
Robert Born was born and raised in Sacramento to a family of performers. His grandfather and great uncle were both well known clowns for the Sacramento Shriners; so naturally clowning around came natural. He attended Sacramento City College and worked with the Sacramento Shakespeare Festival for several years. He later moved to Orange County to study musical theater at the University of California Irvine. There he received his Bachelors in Theater Arts with an emphasis in Musical Theater. From there he moved to Los Angeles to pursue work in film and voiceover.
Most recently he played Fred in the Glendale Center's 2019 production of A Christmas Carol. Other favorite roles to date include Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls, Prince Erik in The Little Mermaid, and Sir Andrew Aguecheek in 12th Night.
